Working In the Garden to Relax
In our experience, working in the garden is an excellent way to connect with nature. And when you connect with nature, whether its walking in a forest, cutting the grass or tilling the soil, you automatically begin to relax, and loosen up.
Its quite an amazing byproduct of doing work in the garden that you get the therapeutic benefits of relaxation, while exercising your body, and working to create a nicer garden. And whether you’re aware of it or not, there is a symmetry and organisation to your garden, that isn’t always quite as apparent in your normal every day work or your Life. Every day that you do some work in your garden, you’re taking action to gain control or influence, and while we cannot command our plants to grow, we can tend and care for them in a way that will make them more likely to grow.
