She has painstakingly learned how to turn a brown thumb into a green one over the past 15 years, although she has gardened in some form or another her entire life. She is married to a wonderful man who has a degree in horticulture and is considered by many to be an expert in the field. He has taught her many things about the garden. They are often found gardening together.
